Malasadas were devilishly good. Hamburger was tough though. Long lines and happy families.

The only reason I take people here is for the malasadas. The Bavarian creme and coconut cream are the 2 best fillings. Tex's is in the Hawaii restaurant hall of fame.For regular food their Portuguese bean soup is good, and the chili with rice. Please note Hawaiian style chili is with a lot of kidney beans. I would eat most anything from the daily specials menu.Their smoothies are pretty good as well.
